Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Clip Hero (cliphero.uk), run by an individual operator based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Clip Hero uses software and AI to make short vertical videos from sources and requests you choose. If you connect a YouTube channel, it posts them there at the times you set. Approval before posting is on by default.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13, and if you are under 18 you need a parent's or guardian's permission. Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. One person per account.
3. YouTube
Clip Hero uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy. You authorise Clip Hero to upload videos to your channel as described in the app. You can revoke this at any time in the app or at Google's security settings. You remain responsible for your channel and must follow YouTube's Community Guidelines.
4. Content and rights
- You must only ask Clip Hero to use content you have the right to use: your own content, content whose owner allows clipping, or use that is otherwise lawful (for example fair dealing for criticism, review or quotation). You are responsible for what is posted to your channel, including after you approve it or switch approvals off.
- You own the videos made for you, to the extent they are not made of other people's material. You give us the licence we need to make, store, show and post them for you.
- We may refuse or remove requests that are unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual, harmful to children, or that infringe others' rights. Tell us about infringing content at [email protected].
- Videos are made with the help of AI and may contain mistakes. Check facts before approving.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break security, overload the service, get around plan limits, or access other people's data, and no spam or misleading content.
6. Price
Clip Hero is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price first and never charge you without your agreement.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Clip Hero running, but it is provided "as is" and may change or be interrupted. We are not responsible for the performance (views) of any video, or for decisions YouTube makes about your channel.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or loss of profits. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the previous 12 months and £50. If you are a consumer, you keep your statutory rights.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using Clip Hero at any time and ask us to delete your account at [email protected]. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Videos already posted stay on your YouTube channel.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
